Considering that both Liar and Magic Under Glass are both in the same sales season for Bloomsbury, I think in this case it was Bloomsbury being stupid twice rather than the company not learning their lesson the first time. I'll wait to see what their next couple seasons' books turn out to be and then we'll see...
